The day of Arafah is one of the greatest days of Allah that cannot be missed , where Muslims gather at Mount Arafah to do Hajj.

In Mecca and in the whole Islamic world, the great spirit of Arafah embraces all Muslims everywhere, as they strive to engage in acts of worship such as fasting, prayers, glorification of Allah, seeking forgiveness, and giving charity.

Our noble Prophet, peace be upon him, said: “There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Hellfire than the Day of Arafah. He comes close and expresses His pride to the angels, saying, ‘What do these people want?’

Charity purifies and elevates them on the day of Arafah.

Alongside fasting on this great day, reciting Quran and making proclamations of His greatness, giving charity stands out as one of the best deeds that can be performed. It purifies and elevates the soul of the donor, expiates their sins, expresses solidarity with their Muslim brothers and sisters everywhere, and becomes a means for the acceptance of supplications by the permission of Allah.

The International Waqf Fund assists you on this great day by enabling you to donate through an ongoing charity or by contributing to the value of one of our Waqf Shares.

Why donate a Waqf Share on the day of Arafah?

Because its impact and reward are like that of an ongoing charity, God wills.
We invest your donation in Sharia-compliant investments, and when it starts generating annual returns, we utilise them to fund projects in healthcare, education, water provision, orphan care, emergency relief, as well as providing food parcels and sacrificial animals. Afterwards, we reinvest a portion of the returns to ensure the growth of the share anew year after year.

Every year, we implement numerous projects in the most needy communities, which you can learn about.
