We use the returns of Qurbani Waqf shares to provide meat to families during Eid. The areas we distribute to are mainly those who live in poverty and cannot afford meat.

“My husband is a day labourer. He works all day and earns only BDT 300. It is simply impossible to cater all our basic food needs with this money. We live in a small hut made of bamboo and Corrugated iron sheet. We are unable to bear the educational expenses of our family.

Under this Qurbani programme the poor, orphan and the persons with disability all receive 2 kg of meat. It means a lot to us as we are incapable of buying even a single kg of meat. My family and I are extremely delighted to have this pack.” – Ujali Begum

“I have much difficulties to support my family’s food needs because my small income cannot cover every expense. Shelter is my real first concern. I share a single room with my mother, my elder sister and three young children.

It is very helpful for our meal quality. We are very happy to receive the meat pack. Children and everyone have eaten the meat with great satisfaction.” – Korotoumou

“It is difficult to buy meat because it is expensive. The priority goes for buying my medicines.

We live in a rented house, paying rent is a challenge. Sometimes, we don’t have anything to eat for a whole day. My son, Zaki, is a student in the Vocational Training Center. My daughter, Ghofran, has down syndrome and does not got to school. It has helped us a lot, it will last all week.” – Nasereldin

The difference between IWF and other organisations is that IWF will invest your donations and bring a sustainable return year on year and serve people indefinitely.
