Nafissa, eating her Qurbani meat with her grandchildren

International Waqf Fund reached out to as many people as possible, providing vulnerable individuals with Qurbani meat to enable them to feel valued and included during Eid festivities. We bought joy to 4,774 people during Eid by providing them with high-quality halal meat.

Meet Nafissa

Nafissa is a 58-year-old lady who sells millet porridge for a living. Nafissa struggles to satisfy the basic needs of her family.
The family lives in a clay hut with a straw roof and to reach healthcare facilities, they have to travel 7km by foot. Meat is a luxury, expensive to buy and so, Nafissa can only afford to feed her family meat occasionally.
We, therefore, provided a meat pack to Nafissa on Eid-al-Adha to help her and her family celebrate.
“This meat pack has helped us. We could not afford to buy a ram but we have enough meat to eat like everybody else.
We are very happy with this NGO Islamic Relief, thank you very much. May Allah (SWT) bless you, I wish you good luck.”

The difference between IWF and other organisations is that IWF will invest your donations and bring a sustainable return year on year and serve people indefinitely.
