During Ramadan 2021, we provided a total of

1041 food packs

to families across Yemen, Sri Lanka, Chechnya and Somalia.

Sajid, a security guard on low income struggles to make ends meet to look after his wife and 8 children.

Sajid said: “In Ramadan I gather plastic bottles and metallic cans from the streets in order to sell them for recycling for any amount of cash to buy food for Iftar.

We are thankful to IWF for the food basket they have provided, it has covered a lot of our needs especially during this hard time.”
