This project helped orphan families by providing 2304 food parcels, 290 hygiene kits, clothing, and cash assistance.

Meet Jihan

When the Syrian crisis started, Jihan was living a normal life with her husband and 5 children. Jihan then became a widow and as the family lost everything, they became refugees.
Sad, scared, and looking for refuge, Jihan and her family ended up in Beirut. They live in a small one-bedroom home with a shared toilet. Living conditions are very poor and unsanitary, with no clean water. Electricity is expensive, there is no heating, and living costs in Lebanon have now increased.
Jihan suffers from a chronic disease, yet does not have enough money to get treated. With money being scarce for the family, only two of her children are able to attend school, whilst one of her daughters also had to drop out of university.

Jihan told us:
“Keep going pleased, there are still thousands of people who are waiting and praying to eat, drink, sleep well, and feel safe. May Allah (SWT) reward everyone who can support us and other people all over the world.”

The difference between IWF and other organisations is that IWF will invest your donations and bring a sustainable return year on year and serve people indefinitely.
